In this delicate works on tissue papers Micha Nussinov is exploring density of colors, transparency, and opacity of matter. Having been painted with pigments of water base color and bonded on a single or multi layered tissue sheets. It is an expressionistic as it reflects on the instinctive impulses of the artist. Depicting interior and exterior landscapes, where the emphasis is on moods, obstructed forms and shades of lights. Ideally these artworks should be view from both sides, as each is designed to be suspended in between clear acrylic sheets. It first started with the use of tissues (the type we sniff into) to absorb excess paint. These fragile pieces were bounded with 'Wrapping tissues' (the type jewelers wrap precious stones with). The latter became the the main material that form the structure.
